Marlane Tubridy, Director

Marlane has been invloved with music her whole life.  As a little girl she started studying piano at the age of six and continued her love of piano and music to later receive a Bachelors of Music from Kent State University in Ohio, to complete private stude with vocal coaches of LaScala in Milan, Italy, to receive a diploma from The Juilliard School of Muisc in New York in voice, and a Masters of Arts from New York University in New York City.  She is a composer and performer and producer of original music videos.  You can see her work by going to:

Studying dance, many various instruments with many performances, she brings years of experience in producing and presenting programs for the enjoyment of others.  The sense of community and friendship at all her concerts is a priority. A composer of many styles, her compositions range from folk love songs to major choral works and even orchestral works.  Her love of music is conatagious as well as her belief in the talents and joys of others.

Christine Tenore, Accompanist - Assistant Director

Christine is a partner with the law office of Eliovson & Tenore Law Offices who specializes in the are of elder care law and issues.                With many hours of her practice in law, she still finds the time to give of  her many talents and enthusiastic support to Arts for the Community and the CantiamoCHOIR.  She is an accomplished organist/pianist and gives of her talents to help make our special evenings possible.  Christine has been with us since the formation of the choir and Arts for the Community, over fourteen years. Our CHOIR Members:

Our choir consists of trained vocalists, choir members, glee club singers, "never studied voice but love to sing" members, and music enthusiatists. We all come together in the CantiamoCHOIR to give it it's wonderful and joyousl performances.

 

When someone who loves music sings, their excitement is contagious and the audience and the other musicians pick it up and we all are in for a wonderful ride.  The musicians inspired by the audience. The audience is inspired by the music.  CantiamoCHOIR is a combination of professional and non-professional musicians from many surrounding areas. They have debuted many original pieces as well as presented programs with a mixture of many styles and types of of music from Popular, Broadway, Classical, and Inspirational repertoire.
